My background spans recruitment, HR generalist work, and HR leadership across a range of industries and environments. I bring a down-to-earth style to every conversation and focus on finding solutions that feel clear, realistic, and supportive for everyone involved.
My Story
Hi, I’m Jade. I started working long before I could drive, and growing up on a farm taught me early that responsibility and hard work were part of everyday life. That mindset stayed with me through university, where I balanced multiple jobs while completing my Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Human Resources.
After graduating, I began my HR career in generalist and recruitment roles, gaining experience across a wide range of people and workplace challenges. During COVID, I took an opportunity in the Northwest Territories, working in HR leadership roles that pushed me professionally and personally. After several years in the North, I returned to Saskatchewan and joined Hughes, where I apply that experience in my work supporting clients. I have a strong interest in employment law and enjoy working through complex issues with a practical, straightforward approach that makes HR feel approachable and clear.
Outside of work, I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, whether that means fishing, golfing, or getting out for a ride with my partner. Time outside helps me reset, and quieter mornings with a good sunrise and a warm cup of coffee are a favourite way to start the day.
